Privacy Policy
PhysLab (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the PhysLab mobile application. PhysLab provides educational physics simulations and learning tools.
1. Information We Collect
- Anonymous device identifier: An application-level UUID may be generated and stored in the iOS Keychain to support app stability and security. This identifier is not Apple’s hardware UDID and is not used for advertising tracking.
- Content you create: Lab photos and voice notes are stored on your device by default.
- Permission-related data: We request access only when you use the related feature: Photo Library, Camera, and Microphone.
- Network connectivity: The app may check network availability so legal pages and other online content can load.
2. Permissions
- Photo Library: choose photos for lab notes
- Camera: capture experiment photos
- Microphone: record spoken lab observations
You may revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings. Related features will become unavailable; other features are unaffected.
3. How We Use and Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. The current version primarily processes data on device. If we later offer cloud services, we will seek additional consent and update this Policy.
4. Storage and Security
The application-level identifier is stored in the iOS Keychain. Photos and recordings are kept in the app sandbox. Please protect your device with a passcode or biometric lock.
5. Children’s Privacy
PhysLab is not directed to children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Your Choices
You can delete lab notes inside the app and control camera, microphone, and photo permissions in iOS Settings.
